Terms of Service

1. What we provide

CouponStack is a plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce that adds coupon offers, rules and automatic discounts to an online store (the "plugin"). A paid or trial licence gives one store access to:

• the licence service that enables the plugin’s features on that store;
• plugin updates while the licence is active; and
• email support while the licence is active.

The plugin’s source code is licensed under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. These terms do not limit any right that licence gives you. What you pay for is the licence service, updates and support described here.

2. Free trial

• Each store address (domain) can have one free trial of 7 days. Reinstalling the plugin, resetting the database or creating a new account does not start another trial.
• The trial starts when you click Start free trial in WordPress. No payment details are needed.
• When the trial ends, the plugin’s offers pause until you buy a licence.

3. Licences, payment and renewal

• Plans. A licence lasts 30 days or one year from the time of payment. Current prices are on our pricing page.
• No automatic renewal. We never charge you without you starting a payment. If you pay before the current period ends, the new time is added to the end of it.
• One store per licence. A licence is tied to one store address. Staging, test or copied sites on another address need their own licence. If your store moves to a new address, contact us and we will move the licence.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Your payment is also subject to Razorpay’s terms.
• Price changes never affect time you have already paid for. We will announce changes on our website at least 30 days before they apply to new payments.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. When a licence is not active

If the trial or paid period ends, or the licence cannot be verified, the plugin pauses: its offers stop applying to new carts, its messages are hidden from shoppers and its settings become read-only. Your coupons and settings are kept and existing orders are not changed. Everything resumes when an active licence is restored.

If our licence server is temporarily unreachable, the plugin keeps working for a grace period of up to 72 hours.

5. Daily licence check

To keep your licence up to date, the plugin contacts our licence server about once a day and when you use the licence buttons in WordPress. What it sends is described in our Privacy Policy. It never sends shopper, customer or order data.

6. Your responsibilities

• Keep your WordPress administrator accounts secure, and check that offers behave as you intend before using them on a live store. You are responsible for the offers you create and the prices you charge your customers.
• Do not attempt to bypass, tamper with or disable the licence checks, share a licence between stores, or interfere with our servers.
• Do not use CouponStack for anything unlawful.

We may suspend a licence that is used in breach of these terms, or where a payment is reversed or found to be fraudulent. Where reasonable, we will contact you first.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the licence service available and the plugin compatible with current versions of WordPress and WooCommerce, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service or compatibility with every theme, plugin or hosting setup. We may improve or change features. If we ever stop offering CouponStack, we will give at least 30 days’ notice and refund the unused part of any paid period.

8. Warranty and liability

Apart from what these terms expressly say, the plugin and licence service are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using CouponStack at any time by deactivating and deleting the plugin. Because licences do not renew automatically, there is nothing to cancel. To have your store’s data deleted from our servers, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Significant changes will be announced on our website and will not apply to a period you have already paid for.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bangalore, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
